In my art practice, I re-purpose materials, images, and processes to share stories of the Filipinx Diaspora. Through my artwork, I create opportunities for viewers to discover shared experiences and to help recognize our roles in each other's stories.
With photography, I make photos of found objects. I celebrate the unpredictable beauty of what I encounter. I am inspired by the stories that emerge from chance. The camera allows me to show the world in a different light. Sharing stories through photography connects me to the world.
